Questions
TruePath, answered.
How the fitting works, what you receive and what happens after you purchase.
- What makes TruePath different from a traditional fitting?
- A traditional fitting typically evaluates equipment during a live session using the combinations available to the fitter. TruePath takes a different approach. The TruePath Fitting Engine™ builds your TruePath DNA™, evaluates equipment and build configurations using Equipment Intelligence, OEM Specifications, Configuration Modeling and Proprietary Fitting Logic, and produces a TruePath Verdict™ explaining what should stay, what should change and why.
- Is TruePath just AI recommending golf clubs?
- No. AI-Assisted Analysis is one capability inside the TruePath Fitting Engine™. TruePath also uses structured golfer information, Equipment Intelligence, OEM Specifications, Configuration Modeling, Proprietary Fitting Logic and a dedicated Decision Engine. AI assists the analysis; it does not independently determine your fitting.
- Is TruePath an AI golf fitting tool?
- TruePath goes beyond generic AI golf fitting. AI-Assisted Analysis is one component of the purpose-built TruePath Fitting Engine™, which also carries structured equipment data, manufacturer specifications, configuration modeling and its own fitting logic and Decision Engine. The output is an engineered equipment decision, not an AI-generated club suggestion.
- What information does TruePath use?
- Ball flight, distances, miss patterns, tempo, transition, strike tendencies, your current equipment, playing preferences and your goals — plus launch-monitor data when you have it. Measured data gives the engine more to work with, but it is not required.
- Do I need TrackMan or a launch monitor?
- No. TruePath can build your fitting profile through its guided intake. If you have compatible launch-monitor data, you can provide it as additional information for the analysis.
- What do I receive?
- A TruePath Verdict™ — your equipment blueprint. Depending on your fitting, it can identify what to Keep, Replace, Reconfigure, Add or Remove, along with recommended equipment, exact build specifications, alternatives, trade-offs, bag architecture and the reasoning behind the decisions.See an illustrative TruePath Verdict →
- Does TruePath favor particular brands?
- TruePath is designed to evaluate equipment around the golfer rather than inventory NORBU Golf needs to sell. The Fitting Engine evaluates equipment across 94 equipment and component brands — 2,000+ equipment options and specifications — using its equipment data and fitting framework. Brand names identify evaluated equipment and do not imply endorsement or partnership.
- Will TruePath tell me to replace my entire bag?
- No. KEEP is a valid TruePath decision. The purpose of the fitting is to determine what belongs in your bag — not to maximize the number of new clubs you purchase.
- What is the difference between TruePath Elite and Pro?
- Both are complete fittings powered by the TruePath Fitting Engine™. Pro analyzes 150,000+ configurations and delivers the essential complete TruePath fitting. Elite expands the analysis to 1,000,000+ configurations with deeper alternatives, scenario modeling, trade-off analysis and bag architecture.Compare Elite & Pro →
- How much does TruePath cost?
- TruePath Elite is $349 and TruePath Pro is $249. Both are one-time purchases.
- Can beginners use TruePath?
- Yes. TruePath is not based on handicap alone. The Fitting Engine evaluates the characteristics of the individual golfer and their equipment needs.
- Can experienced or low-handicap golfers use TruePath?
- Yes. Golfers with more developed swings may provide more detailed information and launch-monitor data, allowing TruePath to evaluate equipment around a highly specific playing profile.
- What happens after I purchase?
- You purchase Elite or Pro, receive secure TruePath access by email, complete the TruePath intake and provide any data you have, the TruePath Fitting Engine™ runs the analysis, and you receive your TruePath Verdict™ in your TruePath account.
- Where do I buy the clubs?
- Wherever you prefer. Your TruePath Verdict™ gives you the exact equipment and build specifications, so you can take it to the retailer, builder or manufacturer of your choice. NORBU Golf does not sell equipment.
- How is my information handled?
- Your fitting information is used to produce your TruePath Verdict™ and to operate your account. Our Privacy Policy is the source of truth for how your data is collected, used and retained.Privacy policy →
